Each section says what it means before the full operating language. This is meant to be readable without hiding the important parts.
Plain-English summaries help explain the terms. The full clause remains the operating text.
Terms
In plain English
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using Lobby, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between the account holder (you or the business you represent) and Lobby, operated by AGI Solutions, LLC (“Lobby,” “we,” “us”). You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.

What Lobby does
Lobby is an AI receptionist that answers your inbound business calls and follows the setup, knowledge, calendar, and routing rules you configure.
The service handles inbound call answering, appointment booking, caller routing, lead capture, messaging, account operation, and related support. Lobby is a software tool that acts on your configuration; it does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not an emergency service. Features, included usage, and availability may change as described below.
In plain English
Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for your login, your configuration, the accuracy of your business information, and for using Lobby lawfully.
Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for the content you provide (greetings, knowledge, routing, phone numbers), for obtaining any consents your jurisdiction requires from your callers, and for ensuring your use of the service complies with all laws applicable to your business and your callers. You are responsible for activity under your account, including team members you invite.

Acceptable use
Don’t use Lobby for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive calling, or to harm the service or others.
Important
You agree not to use Lobby to: place or facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive calls or messages; violate telemarketing, robocall, or consumer-protection laws (including the U.S. TCPA, Do-Not-Call rules, and equivalents); harass, threaten, or impersonate; transmit malware; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; resell or provide the service to third parties without authorization; or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the service. We may investigate and act on suspected violations.

Telephony, messaging and caller consent
Phone numbers and text messaging run through regulated carriers. You’re responsible for required registrations and for caller consent.
Important
Voice and SMS are delivered through third-party telecommunications providers and are subject to their acceptable-use rules and to carrier requirements such as A2P/10DLC registration. You represent that you have any consent required to call, text, record, or contact the individuals who interact with your account, and that you will honor opt-out (STOP) and Do-Not-Call requests. We may suspend numbers or messaging that carriers flag or that appear non-compliant.
In plain English - important
Recording and consent
Where recording or transcription is enabled, your callers must receive the disclosure your region requires. You control these settings.
Important
Recording and transcription are configurable per account and region. Recording is enabled with a caller disclosure by default, and owners can turn it off where needed. Many jurisdictions require one-party or all-party consent before recording a call. You are solely responsible for enabling recording only where lawful, for providing the required caller disclosure, and for honoring deletion requests. Lobby provides the controls; you determine lawful use.
In plain English
AI limitations, not for emergencies
Lobby uses AI and can make mistakes. It is not a substitute for a human in urgent, medical, legal, or emergency situations, and it cannot reach 911.
Calls are handled by automated speech and language models that may misunderstand, omit, or state information incorrectly. Do not rely on Lobby for emergencies or time-critical, safety-of-life, medical, legal, or financial decisions, and do not represent it as able to dispatch emergency services. You are responsible for the knowledge and instructions you give it and for reviewing the leads, bookings, and summaries it produces.
In plain English
Plans and billable calls
Plans include a monthly call allowance. A billable call is an inbound, answered, non-spam call that runs past the minimum duration.
Missed calls, abandoned calls, calls screened as spam, owner test calls, and calls under roughly 20 seconds are not billed. Calls longer than ten minutes may count as more than one unit under fair use. Usage above your plan allowance is charged at the overage rate shown for your plan. Allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over.
In plain English
Payment, renewal and refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor and renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for subscription fees, applicable overages, and taxes. Plans renew automatically for successive periods unless cancelled before the renewal date through your account or support. Prices may change with advance notice effective at your next renewal. Past-due accounts may be suspended. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period.
In plain English
Third-party services
Lobby connects to services like calendars, payment, and telephony. Your use of those is also governed by their terms.
When you connect an integration (for example a Google or Microsoft calendar) or when we use providers for payments, telephony, email, hosting, or AI processing, your use is also subject to those providers’ terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and connecting or disconnecting them is your choice. Calendar access is used only to check availability and create or read events on the calendar you connect.
In plain English
Your data and the license to operate
Your business and caller data stay yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to run the service for you.
As between you and Lobby, you retain ownership of your account data and caller content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data. We may use aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you or any caller to operate and improve the service.
In plain English
Intellectual property
Lobby’s software, brand, and content are ours. You get a limited right to use the service, not to copy or resell it.
The service, including its software, models as integrated, designs, and trademarks, is owned by Lobby and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription for your internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the service except as expressly permitted.
In plain English
Disclaimers
Lobby is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability
Our liability is capped, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, to the extent the law allows.
Important
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.
In plain English
Indemnification
You’ll cover claims that arise from your use of Lobby, your content, or your callers, for example a consent or telemarketing claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lobby and its affiliates from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your configuration, your use of the service, your failure to obtain required caller consents, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
In plain English
Suspension and termination
You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or create legal or security risk.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for non-payment, suspected abuse, legal risk, or material breach. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete account data after a reasonable period, subject to retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
In plain English
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update the service and these terms. We’ll post the new date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.
We may modify, add, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date and provide reasonable notice through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
In plain English
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and disputes are handled there unless the law gives you other rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties submit to the courts located in the State of Delaware, USA for any dispute not subject to binding arbitration, and, where applicable, agree to resolve disputes individually rather than as part of a class action. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under your local consumer-protection law.
In plain English
General
Standard housekeeping: these terms are the whole agreement, you can’t assign them without us, and if one part fails the rest still stands.
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Lobby regarding the service. We may assign them in connection with a merger or sale; you may not assign them without our consent. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Notices to you may be given through the service or by email to your account address.
